Managing Finances
‍‍‍is Better Together.

myFloc connects the people you trust so you can manage and track spending with confidence and control, because it never hurts to get a little help from your friends.

Birds innately know what it takes some
of us a lifetime to learn... together is better.

But when it comes to money, together isn’t always easier. We don’t talk about it, or when we do, it’s stressful. And paying for purchases - either in person, or through the people who help us out – is much more complicated than it needs to be. We're here to change that.

Connection and Control

myFloc lets you connect the people you rely on – no matter where they are – on a common platform and give them controlled access to a new account and a system of connected Visa® debit cards.

You control who has cards, how much they can spend and where. myFloc is easy to use and navigate, so you can track spending for your own expenses -- for things like shopping, errands and monthly bills -- and the spending of others when they are helping you, without the awkwardness of handling cash, writing checks, and trading receipts.

How it Works

Your myFloc Team is your trusted group of people who help with shopping, groceries and other errands and who may help you manage your finances. For each person in your myFloc Team, you can decide who has a myFloc Card Account, what types of controls are on each card, and who has visibility into your myFloc account.

Click the names below for a few examples of how it can work:

Debra lives by herself in a downtown apartment. Arthritis gives her some issues with mobility but she swims to stay active. Debra recently started learning Spanish in preparation for a trip with her granddaughter.

Before myFloc, her three adult children were struggling to coordinate their support of their Mom financially. It wasn’t clear what Debra was spending on a daily basis, reimbursing granddaughter Julie and caregiver Will for errands was always a hassle, and they worried about their Mom becoming a victim of a scam. Then Jennifer discovered myFloc.

    myFloc Lead

Debra was surprised by how easy it was to set up a Card Account and invite others to join her myFloc Team. She likes that she can get help how she wants it and maintain control of her money.

    myFloc Insider

Daughter Jennifer is a Secondary Cardholder and helps Debra manage the myFloc account. Jennifer also contributes to the account to help her mom. She likes being able to keep an eye on the spending and myFloc makes it easier to include her siblings, Tom and Catherine,  from afar.

    myFloc Team Members

Granddaughter Julie and professional caregiver Will now have myFloc cards to use when they run errands for Debra. They are happy to not have to hassle with the awkwardness of receipts and reimbursements.

    myFloc Friends

Daughter Catherine and son Tom don’t like living so far away but feel better knowing what’s happening with Debra as they can see all the myFloc transactions.  Like Jennifer, they contribute to Debra’s account and are glad all three children are able to help their mom.

Mike is a father of 3 and a high school gym coach.  He is very close to his parents. Mike  and his wife Sarah are also thinking about their own retirement and managing money as a family.  Sarah is a busy executive who travels a lot for her career and likes to keep an eye on what’s happening with the children as they are away at school.

Before myFloc, Mike’s parents were reluctant to accept support from Mike and Sarah.  A friend  of Sarah’s described her experience as a myFloc Team Member for her own parents’ account and suggested it might make things easier with Sarah’s in-laws. Mike and Sarah immediately recognized the value myFloc could bring to the whole family, including  the ability to manage money with their own children.

Mike signed up for a myFloc Card Account and invited his family members to his myFloc Team.

    myFloc Insider

Sarah is a Secondary Cardholder. myFloc helps her manage their family budget. She also likes that it gives her visibility on the spending by their children..

    myFloc Team Members

Children Jackie, Alex, and Joe each have a card for their monthly allowance.  Sarah puts the whole allowance on the card but limits weekly spending. To spend more they need to call their parents - never a bad thing! Mike's parents, Elaine and Ted, also have myFloc Team cards on Mike and Sarah’s account. This allows them to spend for dinners, groceries and other items without feeling uncomfortable.

    myFloc Friends

Mike and Sarah have invited their Financial Advisor Anne as an extra set of eyes, so that she can have a more complete picture of the family’s financial life.

Leonard and Patricia retired a few years ago, and in that time Patricia has begun to experience some memory issues. Before myFloc, the whole family was concerned about how to empower her with a safe way to spend money without worry.

Their myFloc Card Account gives them clarity and confidence around spending and Patricia’s myFloc Team card with its limits and card controls gives everyone peace of mind.

    myFloc Lead

Leonard set up the myFloc Card Account with help from their son, Jacob. He loves that Jacob can pick up groceries with his card, and that Patricia can spend money safely.

    myFloc Insider

Their son Jacob is a Secondary Cardholder. He uses his myFloc card whenever he runs errands for his parents. He also helps Leonard manage the account since Leonard has a lot on his hands..

    myFloc Team Members

Patricia’s myFloc card gives her a safe way to spend money without her family worrying  that something will go wrong. It gives Patricia peace of mind that she is protected. Jacob’s wife Jill also has a card she can use whenever she helps out.

    myFloc Friends

Leonard has added their financial advisor, Paul, to the myFloc Team so he can view transactions and  help with planning and budgeting.

Jeanine lives with her two dogs in the neighborhood where she and her late husband lived together.  Jeanine's surrounded by a great family of choice, including great neighbors and friends.

Before myFloc, Jeanine was sometimes reluctant to accept help from friends because talking about money felt  awkward and reimbursing for errands was always a hassle. It also made budgeting difficult. myFloc Team Member cards took reimbursements out of the equation entirely, and a monthly transfer to her myFloc Card Account made budgeting a breeze!

    myFloc Lead

Jeanine opened a myFloc Card Account to make it easier for her friends to help.  She also loves that she was able  to “set it and forget it” with  monthly money transfers to her myFloc Card Account.

    myFloc Insider

Jeanine hasn’t needed help managing myFloc or seen any other reason to appoint a secondary account holder.

    myFloc Team Members

Jeanine’s dear friend Sally, along with neighbors Sam, Alex and Leah, can all now use myFloc cards when they run errands for Jeanine. Jeanine has set Sally’s account permissions so she can view all the myFloc transactions to help her keep an eye on the account.

    myFloc Friends

Jeanine added her accountant John to her myFloc Team so he can view all the transactions and help with overall financial management.
